Kent Tile opened its doors in 1972, founded by the late Albert Kent. From the very beginning, Albert’s daughter Robin played an essential role in shaping the company’s values, quality standards, and deep commitment to the community. In 1979, a young man named Bobby Helms joined the Kent Tile team. What began as a job soon became much more, Bobby won the heart of the boss’s daughter, and the two married in 1982.
For over 46 years, Bobby and Robin have remained dedicated partners in marriage, business, and community. Together, they have proudly carried on the Kent Tile legacy as a family-owned and operated business, serving Highlands County with craftsmanship, integrity, and hometown pride. Lifelong residents of Sebring, Florida, they continue to honor Albert’s vision while growing the company into a trusted name that generations of families rely on.
